'Inspired by a street violinist I encountered on a winter afternoon in York, Being In The Moment explores the experience of complete presence. For a brief instant, performer and performance become indistinguishable. Attention narrows, external distractions fade, and the act itself becomes the only reality. The painting reflects on music as a space of immersion — a temporary suspension of time in which the individual is fully absorbed by the present moment.
